I went to a choir concert at Durban's city hall on Friday (one of the neatest looking buildings in the city... I'll try to get a picture by the end of my time here but it's not the safeset area to be flashing a camera). The choir from Brigham Young University was touring here in South Africa and performed in the concert along with a few choirs from UKZN (my school here). It was a really good concert, and it made me a little nostalgic for my choir days.
I didn't have the best day yesterday, but I did spend a few hours at the pool (a little disappointing considering I was planning on the beach... but I got over it). Both Friday night and Saturday night we went out... and I had a blast on Saturday night.
We got up really early this morning to go out for breakfast then spent most of the day at the beach. I finally feel like I'm getting brown again. I felt so pale for a while!
I also just thought I'd leave you with a few pictures, because I know a few of you appreciate it when I do that. I know I still need to get those safari pictures up... although at this point I think I might be too lazy. I'll try to post something with at least 1 picture of each type of animal... an attempt at a "best of" kind of thing, but it would probably be easiest to share my safari pictures in person.

I am so happy to hear you felt well enough to go out and have a good time. Your pictures really show how glad you were to go out.
I think I just missed you online this morning. I was just getting ready to sit down to the computer and heard the closing door sound. Brooke had a dance recital today so I was getting ready and had not been on before then. Sorry I missed you! She was really cute in a little red, white, and blue sailor dress with a Gilligan hat and they danced to Good Ship Lollipop. She seemed to have a lot of fun up there. Molly really loved the music too, she was moving all around to the music and talking like crazy! She will be one on June 9 so hopefully will be walking when you get back. She is a sweetie too.

PS - You are old enough to drink now and were taking a cab.... live it up and enjoy yourself. Tipsy is fun once in a while!
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond to your notes--your mom had told me abt the headaches and I figured you weren't up to typing anything I hope after the long wait for the meds that they are helping to some degree. I love you honey and wish I could offer a remedy so you felt better!!!!
Thank you so much for staying up half the night just to tell me happy birthday. I was really surprised abt the party and your call made my day complete. Your mom gave me pink and white roses that still look fresh and new even after a week. Tipsy is good if it relaxes you and you have fun and your mom is right you are old enough to indulge. love you baby and as much as you hate to see the time go by so fast I can't wait to see you.
